Downloading Aadhaar Card has become even easier. UIDAI has provided new facilities for Aadhar card holders. Now card holders will be able to download the Aadhaar card in one click easily on WhatsApp. Aadhaar card has become an essential document. Children or older they need Aadhaar card to take advantage of schemes to open bank accounts, pension, SIM card. It has become an urgent identity card.
The Aadhaar card issuing agency has launched WhatsApp helpline chatbot to download it, through which Aadhaar card can be easily downloaded. Come, let’s know what is its entire process?
What is the way?
- UIDAI said that users will first have to save helpline number 9013151515 in their phone as My Gov Helpdesk.
- After this, you have to go to WhatsApp and send ‘HI’ on this number.
- After doing this, one has to go to the option of Digi Locker.
- If you do not have a Digi Locker account, create it.
- After this, enter 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Then OTP i.e. one time password will be received on the registered mobile number.
- After verifying OTP, the list of existing documents of Digi Locker will be revealed.
- Select the Aadhaar card from this and download it in your phone.
After downloading Aadhaar Card, if you want to change any details in it, then you should know the rules about it. You can change the name recorded in your Aadhaar card maximum twice. According to UIDAI, you can change the address recorded in the Aadhaar card several times. The agency has not set any limit for this.
The Aadhaar card is always presented as a photo ID proof. In such a situation, there is no problem with changing the address of Aadhaar card. However, users can change the date of birth recorded in the Aadhaar card only once. In such a situation, if the wrong date of birth is recorded in the Aadhaar card, then by uploading the correct document, changes can be made once.
Not only this, you can change the link mobile number with your Aadhaar card as many times as you want. However, for all these changes you have to visit UIDAI’s website.
