6 policemen killed in militant attacks in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, many injured
6 policemen have been killed in militant attacks at different places in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Apart from this, 8 have also been injured.
The most deadly attack occurred in Upper Dir in Panakot area of Upper Dir district. Here militants ambushed the van of Quick Response Force (QRF).
Three policemen were killed on the spot. Six other policemen were injured. The attackers used automatic weapons.
Apart from this, militants attacked three police posts at night in the Lower Dir ground subdivision. A constable was killed at Lajbok Post, while a soldier was injured at Shadas post.
