At the Women’s World Cup 2022, which was played in New Zealand, 3.5 million US dollars were given as prize money, which is around Rs 31 crore in Indian currency. In this World Cup, four times more prize money is being given than before.
The prize money received in the Women’s World Cup 2025 is more than the amount received in the Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. When Australia won the Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, which was played in India, it received 10 million US dollars, which is around Rs 89 crore in Indian currency.

- Australia holds the record for winning the Women’s World Cup title the most number of times. The Australian team has won the ODI World Cup title seven times. The Australian team won the Women’s World Cup in 1978, 1982, 1988, 1997, 2013 and 2022.
- England is at second place, which has won this title four times. England has won the World Cup trophy in 1973, 1993, 2009 and 2017.
- The New Zealand team has won the Women’s ODI World Cup only once. New Zealand won this World Cup title in the year 2000.
