Kharge’s sharp attack on VB Ji-Ram Ji Bill, warned of agitation to the government

Congress has strongly attacked the government in Parliament regarding the Vikas Bharat Ji-Ram Ji Bill. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge said that the ministers who talk about showing sympathy towards the poor are today bent on abolishing MNREGA. He said that the government is bringing this law out of compulsion, but is not telling the truth to the country. Kharge warned that just as the three agricultural laws had to be withdrawn, this law will also have to be withdrawn. He questioned whether the government wants people to take to the streets, protest, take bullets and commit suicide. Kharge clearly said that the poor will never support this law and Congress will continue fighting for it.

Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari said the day Congress returns to power, Mahatma Gandhi’s name will be added again and MNREGA will be restored in its original form. He called it a promise of Congress. Discussion on SHANTI Bill in Rajya Sabha, Congress-TMC opposed

‘Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India Bill, 2025 aka SHANTI Bill, 2025’. Jairam Ramesh from the Congress side strongly opposed it. Trinamool Congress MP Sagarika Ghosh also termed its provisions as fatal and said that the government is playing with the safety of citizens. Uproar over Ji-Ram-Ji Bill in Lok Sabha, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan replied

Amidst the uproar by opposition parties in Parliament today, Shivraj Singh Chouhan responded in detail on the Vikas Bharat Ji-Ram-Ji Bill. He said that the opposition does not want to hear the government’s answer. While presenting the figures released by the government, the Union Agriculture Minister said that the previous governments misused the funds, but our government insisted on spending on development works. Shivraj Singh Chauhan claimed that the government has brought a bill for the welfare of farmers as well as the poor, which is being opposed.

Responding to Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi’s comment, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the craze is not on the Modi government. He said that to glorify his family, he named government schemes only after the Nehru family instead of Mahatma Gandhi. Accusing Congress of indulging in glorification of the family, Shivraj said that the schemes were named after the Nehru family. He claimed that 25 names were named after late Rajiv Gandhi and 27 names were named after Indira Gandhi. Apart from this, educational institutions, roads, buildings, awards were also named after people of this family.
