More than 40 BJP MLAs held a meeting in the capital Lucknow on Tuesday night under the pretext of a banquet, after which political movements have intensified in the state. Samajwadi Party general secretary and Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav took a dig at this meeting of BJP MLAs and said that they should come with SP.
SP leader Shivpal Yadav cited the growing dissatisfaction in the party as the reason behind the meeting of Brahmin MLAs and said that this meeting is being held because they are not getting respect in BJP. Shivpal Yadav talked to Bharat Samachar about this and invited BJP MLAs to join BJP.

Shivpal Yadav said that people of Bharatiya Janata Party spread casteism. If people of Brahmin community are holding separate meetings then we will say that everyone should come to our Samajwadi Party and they will get full respect here.
Shivpal claimed that there must be some displeasure with his government, that is why he is holding separate meetings. There is casteism in BJP, that is why they are angry, but we are socialist people, they should come with us and they will be given full respect.
On this matter, SP MLA Atul Pradhan said that this is not just a matter of Brahmins. Everyone is angry with this government and people from other communities have started coming together. Brahmin MLAs have held a meeting to defeat BJP.

This meeting is being seen as a challenge for CM Yogi Adityanath and the BJP high command.
