India vs New Zealand first ODI match is being played in Vadodara. Indian players started reaching Vadodara from January 7 to improve their preparations. Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli had sweated profusely in the nets. Meanwhile, a video surfaced in which Virat Kohli is seen encouraging a young bowler during a practice session.
Virat Kohli was practicing before the first ODI match against New Zealand. After the net session, Virat made the day of the young bowler by autographing the ball. He also gave him advice on what the bowler should do if he is hit by the balls.
What to do if you get beaten?
Giving a tip to the young bowler, Virat Kohli said, “The bowler will not do anything. He is just waiting for either I (the batsman) to make a mistake, or for the ball to turn on its own. Even if it is hit, there is no problem but it is important to have strong faith. I will bowl the ball that I have to bowl. I will not bowl the ball that the batsman is asking me to bowl.”
Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is going through a very good form. Kohli, who has retired from T20 and Test formats, has scored 584 runs in the last 6 ODI innings with the help of three centuries and as many half-centuries.
