Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Legislative Assembly Shubhendu Adhikari has demanded that the Bengal Assembly Elections be held under President’s rule next year. He alleged that the law and order was completely demolished during the violence in Murshidabad district. The official said that the unrest in Murshidabad, Sati, Dhulian, Jangipur and Shamsherganj is the failure of the state government that it could not protect the common citizens and could not maintain peace.
