A top Israeli army general resigned from his post on Tuesday for failure to stop Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023. It was only after these attacks that the Gaza War started.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Israel launched a major military crackdown on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, killing six people and wounding 35. The Palestinian Health Ministry gave this information.
