Water rain from SPLIT AC? Do well in these 3 ways

Does the split AC in your house rain water? If yes, you can easily fix it. Especially as soon as there is moisture in the weather, water dripping from AC becomes common. However, only humid weather is not responsible for this. Many times water drips from Split AC due to some mistakes made while applying AC. Come, let’s know why water drips from split AC and how can it be cured without any technician?

This causes a problem

The biggest reason for this is not timely servicing of AC. If you do servicing on time, then both AC filters and the drainage line of AC remain clean, due to which the water coming out of AC easily comes out through drainage pipes. But if the AC filter is not cleaned from time to time, the dirt present in it falls in the indoor unit of the split AC and blocks the drainage pipeline. Because of this, the water coming out of AC starts falling in the house itself.

Apart from this, even if the level of indoor unit is not correct while applying AC, the water released from it does not reach the drainage pipe and starts dripping at home. If there is no humidity outside in the summer season, this problem is less seen, but this problem becomes common during the rainy season.

Many times this problem can also occur due to drainage pipe turning. Apart from this, even if there is not enough refrigerant in AC, water starts coming out in large quantities.

Do well in these 3 ways

1. Split AC filter should be cleaned every three months i.e. 90 days. If your outdoor unit is installed in a place where dust and soil comes, then the filter should be cleaned every month. The filter does not contain dust due to clinning and there is no problem of dirt accumulating in the drainage pipeline.
2. Change it when AC filter is damaged, otherwise it can cause many more problems in AC.
3. Clean the Drain line of AC by pouring water with pressure, due to which the dirt present in it will come out and the water will be cleared.

If the level of AC indoor unit is not correct, then call the technician and get it done at the level. Apart from this, put vinegar in the drain line of AC every two-three months, so that algae etc. cannot freeze in it and the drain line remains clean.
