He also gave a big statement regarding the T20 World Cup, he said that right now Team India is not at the place where we want to be.

Then he said, “Just throw the players into the deep sea. We did the same with Shubman when he was appointed Test captain.” Regarding the dressing room, Gambhir said, “This is a very transparent dressing room, and now we want this dressing room to remain like this.”
Regarding the T20 World Cup, Gautam Gambhir said, “By the World Cup, we have still not reached the point where we want to be. So hopefully the players will know the importance of staying fit, so we still have three months to get to where we want to be.”
