Not judicial surveillance: The decisions of Waqf Tribunals cannot be challenged in the High Courts.

  1. Incomplete survey of Waqf properties: The survey commissioner’s work has been poor, which has delayed. The survey has not yet started in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. The survey order in 2014 in Uttar Pradesh is still pending. Lack of expertise and poor coordination with the Department of Revenue has slowed down the registration process.
