14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has achieved another big feat. He scored a century in 32 balls while playing for India A in the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Star Tournament. He has done this historic feat in the match against UAE. Vaibhav completed fifty runs in 17 balls, while it took 15 balls to score the next 50 runs. To complete his century, he hit 10 fours and 9 sixes.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an inning of 144 runs in 42 balls in this match, in which he hit 15 sixes and 11 fours. This is not the record for the fastest century for India in T20 cricket history. The record for the fastest century for India in T20 cricket is jointly held by Abhishek Sharma and Urvil Patel, who have scored a century in 28 balls.
Suryavanshi became the youngest cricketer to score a century in IPL this year. He scored an IPL century in just 35 balls at the age of 14 years and 32 days. This was also the second fastest century in the Indian Premier League history.
Fastest T20 century for India
The record of scoring the fastest T20 century for India is in the names of Abhishek Sharma and Urvil Patel. Both of them have scored centuries in 28 balls. Rishabh Pant has also scored a century in 32 balls in T20 cricket.

The Men’s Asia Cup Rising Star tournament started from 14 November. In the first match of the tournament, Pakistan defeated Oman by 40 runs. India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong are participating in this tournament. The tournament will be played from 14-23 November.
