Husband went to MRI room to help wife get off the table

The deceased’s wife Edrien Jones-Machalister told a TV channel that when she was getting her knee MRI, she asked the technician to help her husband Keith McLister to get off the table. When her husband came to her, the machine suddenly pulled her. He told, ‘The machine turned them up and pulled them inside. Then his body became absolutely numb. She weeping says, ‘I was screaming- stop the machine, call 911, do something!’

The person wore a chain of 20 pounds

Wife Adrienne says that her husband was wearing a heavy chain of about 20 pounds, which he used for weight training. He said that he had spoken to the technician about this earlier also, but still he was called in the room. Jones-McLister said, “They said goodbye to me and then his whole body became numb.”

Those working at MRI Center refused to comment

People working at the Long Island -based NASAU Open MRI refused to comment on the incident on Friday. Calling the MRI Center on Saturday, but no response came.

Such accidents have happened before

This was not the first death from the MRI machine in New York. There have been such accidents before this. In 2001, a 6 -year -old child Michael Colombini was killed at the Westchester Medical Center, when an oxygen tank suddenly stretched to the MRI machine and fell on it. After the incident, his family settled the case for $ 2.9 million.
