Aniket Sharma, a resident of Bahjoi in Sambhal district, was murdered by his father Baburam Sharma by giving him a betel nut to grab the insurance money. On Thursday, the police revealed that after the murder, an attempt was made to fake an accident by throwing the dead body in Kundarki area. Police have arrested Aniket’s father and his three associates.
SP Dehat Kunwar Akash Singh said that on the night of 16th November, the body of Aniket Sharma, resident of Nai Basti Durga Colony of Bahjoi police station area, was found in the field located at Jaitpur of Kundarki police station area. Even after the post mortem report confirmed murder, the father continued calling it an accident. Investigation revealed that Aniket had accident insurance worth Rs 2.10 crore in his name. Police took Aniket’s father Baburam Sharma into custody on Wednesday night.
