UP Board 12th Practical Exam 2025 Intermediate Practical Exams to Begin from February 1 Under CCTV Survelance

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board) Intermediate (Class 12) practical examinations are going to start from 1 February 2025. This exam will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, examinations will be conducted in the districts of eight divisions from 1 to 8 February. This time a big change has been made in the examination system, which will make the whole process more transparent and smooth.

This time the examiners will have to upload marks on the portal through the mobile app directly from the school premises. This is the first time that examiners will enter marks through digital medium without any paperwork. The list of examiners, the information of the schools allotted to them and all other documents related to the examination have already been sent to the respective districts.

Strict security and monitoring system

The Secretary of the UP Board has given clear instructions that the practical examination will be conducted 100 percent under CCTV surveillance. It will be mandatory for the principals of all schools to preserve the recording of the examination. Apart from this, instructions have also been given for the examiners to keep Aadhaar card or other legitimate identity card with them during the examination, a copy of which will be submitted in the records of the school.

Which districts will be examined in the first phase?

In the first phase, examinations will be conducted in the districts of Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirjapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur divisions. CCTV cameras installed at the examination centers have also been reviewed, so that the examination can be done in a fair and transparent manner. The board has appointed officers for monitoring each examination center, who will inspect the smooth system of conducting the examination.

Helpdesk facility for students

During the examination, helpdesk has been made in UP Board Headquarters and all regional offices to give students a solution to any subject problem, examination stress or other curiosities. These helpdesk will solve the doubts of the students and will help them to be mentally prepared during the examination.

Trying to make the exam fair and transparent

UP Board has further strengthened security and monitoring along with technical reforms in this year’s practical examination. In the examination system, efforts have been made to eliminate the possibilities of copying and disturbances by digital intervention and appointment of monitoring officers.
