A young man and a girl were murdered by slitting their throats in village Gadhiya Suhagpur late on Sunday night. The young man had come to the girl’s house to meet her. Seeing both of them in an objectionable condition, the girl’s family lost their temper and committed the crime. SSP Shyam Narayan Singh said that the matter is of Jaithra police station area. The deceased have been identified as Deepak (21) and Shivani (21).
SSP said that during interrogation it has come to light that a love affair was going on between the two. To meet the girl, the young man had come to a house located behind the girl’s house at night. Meanwhile, the girl’s family saw both of them. In a fit of rage he murdered both of them.
After the incident, the girl’s family got scared and ran away from home. The police launched a search operation and caught these people from the fields. Everyone is being detained and interrogated. The bodies of both have been sent to the post-mortem house. After the incident, police force of Circle area has been deployed in view of law and order in the village. Strict monitoring is being done.
