Important decisions of CCS meeting
Earlier, after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, several major decisions were taken in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee of Security Affairs (CCS). In this, the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 was postponed with immediate effect. Along with this, the integrated check post attic was closed with immediate effect. In addition, Pakistani citizens were banned from allowing to travel to India under the SAARC Visa Rebate Scheme. Any Pakistani citizen in India was given 48 hours to leave India.
