The joint statement said, “Ukraine has expressed a desire to accept the US proposal to implement a temporary 30-day ceasefire immediately, which can be increased by consent between parties, and it will depend on Russia’s approval.”

The statement also said that America will give a message to Russia that Russia’s cooperation is necessary to establish peace. The US will immediately lift the ban on sharing intelligence and will resume security aid to Ukraine.
