A meeting was held between American and Ukrainian officials on Tuesday to end Ukraine War. After this, Ukraine has accepted the 30-day ceasefire proposal of the US. This was confirmed by Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky.

In a meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz discussed several compromises with Ukraine. However, Ukrainian officials did not appear ready for any agreement on the occupied area issue.
In fact, Russian President Vladimir Putin wants complete control over the four large areas of Eastern Ukraine (Donnetsk, Luhansk, Kherason, and Japorijia). Russia has already occupied 20% of Ukraine.

Jailonsky regretted the debate with Trump
On March 4, Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonsky said that his meeting with Trump was not held the same as it should have been as it should have been. Jailonsky described it as regrettable and said that Ukraine is ready for the mineral agreement.
Jailonsky’s statement came at a time when Trump announced to stop military help to Ukraine. In this, such help which had not yet reached Ukraine from the US, was also stopped.
Jailonsky reached the White House to meet Trump on 28 February.
Trump expressed displeasure over Jailonsky
According to a White House official, the stopped help will not be restored until President Trump is convinced that Ukrainian President really wants peace.

Jailonski does not want peace as long as he has the support of America. This is the worst statement given by Jailonsky. America will not tolerate it.
