Four people died, while many were seriously injured in a tragic accident that took place on Saturday night on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad National Highway in Udaipur. The accident occurred in front of Mayur Mill near Rishabhdev town, when a car lost control due to a buffalo suddenly coming on the road and collided with the vehicles coming from the front. The collision was so severe that many vehicles collided with each other and even identification of some bodies became difficult.

Car went out of control while trying to save buffalo

According to the information, this accident happened on the highway at around 8 pm. According to eyewitnesses, due to the sudden arrival of buffalo on the road, the driver of the car coming from the front tried to save the vehicle, but the car crossed the divider and went into the other lane. At the same time, he had a strong collision with the truck and Bolero coming from the front. Other vehicles coming from behind, including a tanker and another car, also collided. A car was completely shattered and the people traveling in it died on the spot.

Police engaged in relief workDifficulty in identifying dead bodies

There was chaos at the spot after the accident. Local people immediately ran for help and informed the police. Rishabhdev police station reached the spot and started relief work and called for a crane to remove the damaged vehicles from the road. Officials said that the accident was so terrible that it became difficult to identify some of the dead bodies after seeing their condition.

The injured were taken to hospitalreferred to one

The injured were immediately admitted to Rishabhdev Hospital. Kailash son Ganpatlal, resident of Kishangarh (Ajmer), who was seriously injured, was referred to Udaipur after first aid. Sub-divisional officer Bhagchand Regar and police station officer Bharat Singh Rajpurohit reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

Deceased residents of Salumber areawere returning home

According to the police, all the deceased were residents of villages located near Semari in Salumbar area. He was returning home in Bolero after meeting a family member in Udaipur, when this accident happened. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway and a crowd of people gathered. The eyes of the local people became moist after seeing the scattered dead bodies.
