Uber Lost and Found Survey Delhi Most Forgetful City

According to the 2024 edition of Uber’s ‘Lost and Found Index’, Delhi passengers are the most forgetful. This was revealed when the company released Insight and Data from the survey, which was aimed at what they had lost during their Uber Trip. The company also shared in-app options which are available for rider who forgot the goods during their Uber ride.

Which cities are the most forgotten

Delhi is at number one in terms of forgetting, Mumbai is second while Bengaluru is at number three. Hyderabad ranks fourth most Bhulakkad city and Pune 5th.

The most lost goods in Uber

According to the survey, phones, bags, wallets and clothes are at the top in terms of losing in Uber across India. After this, essential items like water bottle and key come. During the Uber ride, items like rider glasses and jewelery were also forgotten.

Unique stuff lost during trip

According to the survey, the rider also forgot the unique things like Ukulele, a coin collection, prasad and hair trimmer. Some also left documents like passport, bank and business papers in their Uber ride.

When do users forget the most

According to the survey, the riders are most likely to forget their goods in Uber at around 7 pm on Saturday and evening. It was revealed that the Apple device is the most lost goods during the festival season like Diwali.

What Uber said on the ‘Lost and Found Index’, Nitish Bhushan, head of Central Operations, said “We have been riding all and we all suddenly came to know when we suddenly came to know that we forgot a precious item or other valuables in the cab. With Uber, you have the option to try to get the lost goods back by following some steps in the app. We believe how much riders trust us every time riding Uber. In such a situation, we felt that it is time to give information about how to get lost goods back.
