US President Donald Trump’s threat has no effect on Apple. Apple CEO Tim Cook has given this information during the Q3 earning calls. Tim Cook said that Apple will open a new retail store in India and UAE by the end of this year.

Revenue increased by 13 percent

In the quarter’s earning calls ended between April and June, the Apple CEO said that during this period the revenue share of the iPhone has increased by 13 percent. The company has sold 3 billion i.e. 300 million iPhones since 2007. Tim Cook said that the company will open a retail store in the new location of India and UAE. According to the reports that came in the past, this store can be opened in cities like Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune adjacent to Delhi.

Tim Cook said that the Apple Store has been opened in Saudi Arabia recently. We are excited about opening new Apple stores by the end of this year in India and UAE. Apart from this, a new Apple store has also been opened in Osaka, Japan. Tim Cook has not revealed the date of opening the Apple Store. According to the report, Apple Store can be opened in Sky City Mall, Borivali and Finix Mall of Asia, Bengaluru in Mumbai. Apart from this, Apple Store can be opened in Copa Mall Pune and DLF Mall of India, Noida.

Trump threatened

Donald Trump threatened Apple in May, saying that he should not put manufacturing units in India and put it in the US. Otherwise, 25% tariff will be applied on Apple’s products. At the same time, Apple is trying to expand the fast growing market like India. The company has exported millions of units iPhones from India this year to the US and European countries. The company is focusing on expansion in India by shifting units from China.
