US President Donald Trump spoke on the phone to Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonsky and then Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone on Monday night.

European Union will ban Russia on Tuesday
The news of a conversation between Trump and Putin came at a time when the European Union (EU) is going to announce new sanctions on Russia on Tuesday. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not attend the Ukraine peace talks in Istanbul in Turki on 16 May. Because of this, these restrictions are being imposed.

Russia-Ukraine spoke in the Turks on 16 May
