Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a new order for all 75 districts of UP. People are expected to get great relief from this. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high -level review meeting regarding the completion of major schemes of the Public Works Department and the upcoming strategy. The CM gave clear instructions that under the main 18 schemes of the Public Works Department, proposals should be obtained compulsorily from all 75 districts of the state by June 30.
The Chief Minister said that the District Magistrates should coordinate with the local public representatives, prepare the proposal as per the local requirement and send it within the fixed deadline. The Chief Minister said that the benefit of development should not be ensured on the basis of local requirement, not political area.
According to the news agency, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the schemes of development should be prepared not by political boundaries, but according to local needs. For this, the District Magistrates have been directed to coordinate with the local public representatives, prepare a proposal according to the need and send it to the government within the stipulated time. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also clarified that all 403 assembly constituencies of the state must get the benefit of at least two to three schemes. He said that the land worship or foundation stone of development works should be done only through local public representatives, so that both the participation and trust of the public can be strengthened.
Religious tourism will get a boost
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke of connecting religious tourism with economic strength. He directed that 50 major religious places of the state should be selected every year, and priority should be given to the construction and repair of the routes reaching them. On one hand, devotees will get convenience, on the other hand local employment and business will gain momentum.
Plan towards connecting north-south districts
In order to further improve the internal connectivity of the state, the Chief Minister stated the need for integrated strategy. After projects like Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Yamuna and Ganga Expressway, the emphasis is also being laid on preparing a structure connecting north and south districts. The Chief Minister also directed that no pit should be seen on any road. He said that accidents increase due to overseas and broken roads. Therefore, all ‘dark spots’ should be identified and table top speed breakers should be made there if needed.
Advance scheme for flood affected areas
The Chief Minister asked to prepare a proposal in time to prevent frequent damage of small bridges and roads in excess rainfall and flood affected areas. So that work can be started immediately after the rain. The Chief Minister also said that a list of suspects or previously done contractors should be prepared and action should be taken on them as per the requirement. Transparency and public participation in development works should be mandatory.

The schemes of the Public Works Department which have been issued, include projects like blocks and tehsil headquarters roads, major district routes, state highways, flyovers, ring road, religious places connecting religious places, industrial parks, inter-state boundaries, rural connectivity and projects like North-South Corridor.
