Right now Sourav’s brother Snehashish Ganguly is present on the post of president, but very soon the news of changing the president has come out.

According to Cricblogger, Ganguly is going to become the President of the Cricket Association of Bengal again. After finishing his first term in 2019, Ganguly took over as BCCI President in the same year. After Ganguly, the post was handled by Avishek Dalmia, son of former BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmia, who remained in the post till 2022. At the same time, after 2022, Snehashish Ganguly remains in this post.

No information has been revealed on whether any other candidate will present the challenge in front of Sourav Ganguly for the post of President. Ganguly is less likely to challenge because CAB has tried to bring him with him earlier, which had failed.

As a BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s term was full. Meanwhile, the news of his rift with Virat Kohli was at its peak, at the same time Virat left the captaincy of the Test team.
