This company secretly reduced its validity of its plan, know what happened

BSNL: While the government telecom company BSNL is presenting a spectacular recharge plan for 1 rupee, on the other hand it is continuously reducing the validity of its old affordable plans. Recently, the validity of the plan of Rs 197 and Rs 99 was reduced, and now the company has also reduced the validity of its popular Rs 147 plan.

Low validity in Rs 147 plan now

Earlier BSNL’s Rs 147 recharge plan used to come with a validity of 30 days. In this, users used to get unlimited calling, free national roaming and 10GB high-speed data. However, free SMS facility was not provided in this plan. But now BSNL has reduced the validity of this plan by 5 days. That is, now users will get a validity of only 25 days, while all other facilities will remain the same. The benefits of calling, roaming and data are still included in the plan, but due to low validity, users will have to recharge more often.

BSNL on the path of private companies

The way private telecom companies are decreasing their validity while keeping the recharge rates stable, now BSNL is also seen adopting the same strategy. The price of the plan is the same but the profit has reduced now.

The plan of Rs 99 was valid for the first 18 days, which has been reduced to 15 days. At the same time, the plan of 197 rupees used to give a validity of 70 days earlier, which has now been reduced to 54 days. This move of the company is being seen as an attempt to increase its ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) i.e. average earnings per user.

Airtel’s year -long plan

Airtel has introduced two such plans which do not have internet data facility but calls and SMS get full benefit. The 84 -day validity plan is available for Rs 469. In this, unlimited calling, free roaming and 900 SMS are available across the country. A plan with a validity of 365 days comes for Rs 1849. It also includes unlimited calling, free roaming and 3600 SMS throughout the year.
