Türkiye’s Bayraktar TB2 drone has been in the news in recent years, especially during the Russia-Ukraine war. This is a medium altitude and long endurance drone which can fly continuously for 27 hours. It is equipped with a high-definition camera and smart micro missiles which destroy the target in a few seconds. Wing Loong II (China)
China’s Wing Loong II drone is technically similar to America’s Reaper. This drone is used for both surveillance and attack. Its range is more than 4,000 kilometers and it can carry up to 12 missiles. China has sold it not only for itself but also to many Asian and African countries, due to which it has become popular globally.
Heron TP (Israel)
Israel’s Heron TP drone specializes in surveillance and espionage missions. This drone can fly continuously for 36 hours and can carry more than 1 ton of weapons. It is equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and radar systems which enable it to keep an eye on every movement of the enemy. Indian Air Force also uses this drone.
KUB-BLA (Russia)
Russia’s KUB-BLA is called suicide drone. It makes itself explosive and drops it on the target and causes huge destruction. Its size is small which makes it difficult to catch on radar. Russia has used this drone many times in war zones, due to which it is also known as “flying bomb”.
