6 years have passed since the death of Jeffre Epstein, but his name has once again been the reason for controversy in American politics. This time the center of the dispute is President Donald Trump.
The case is of the alleged ‘client file’ of Epstein, who was a sexual criminal, which contains speculation about the names of powerful leaders, business tycoon and celebrities from all over the world.
The Trump administration is being accused of not making these documents intentionally public, as it is in danger of exposing many high-profile faces.
The US agency FBI and the Justice Department are also accused of suppressing the Epstein file.

New York’s Rais businessman becomes a minor teacher
Jeffrey Epstein taught Math and Physics at a school in New York in the seventies. It is said that the father of a student studying in that school was very impressed by him. He made him friendship with an investor associated with Wall Street Investment Bank Bayer Stern.
Four years later, Epstein had become a partner of Bayer Sterns. However, in 1981, Epstein was fired on charges of fraud. A year later, he opened a firm of his own Epstein & Company. This firm used to give financial advice to billionaires.
He claimed that he manages the money of very rich people. Epstein used to say that only manages the money of the clients whose assets are more than ‘$ 1 billion’. But later several investigations found that his real business was very suspicious.
However, he had become very rich in a few years. He soon started spending wealth and bought a farmhouse (1993) in New Mexico and the largest private home in New York, a mansion (2002) in Florida.
Epstein had now become a well-known name in America. He was to sit up with big personalities. He used to perform magnificent parties that included well -known people such as Bill Clinton, famous scientist Stephen Hawking, and popstar Michael Jackson.

Epstein’s best friend Trump
Trump and Epstein also met at a party. In 2002, Trump said in an interview to a magazine-
I have known Jeff for 15 years, a wonderful man. We both like beautiful girls.
This statement later became a problem for Trump.
In 1992, Trump held a party with Epstein and Cheerleaders at his Mar-e-Lago Resort in Florida. In 2019, NBC released a footage of it. In which Trump is seen pointing Epstein to a woman and bends and says- Look that is very hot.
Trump used to travel from Epstein’s jet
Media reports claimed that Trump had traveled to Epstein’s private jet seven times. According to the New York Times, Trump did this journey between 1993 and 1997.
However, these flights were mostly between Palm Beach and New York. Trump had said that he never toured Epstein’s private island nor did anything wrong.

Trump and Epstein’s friendship rift
The rift between Trump and Epstein’s friendship came in 2004 due to the property ‘House of Friendship’ on Palm Beach, Florida. The property was of Nursing Home Magnet Abbe Gosman, which was being auctioned due to bankruptcy.
Both Trump and Epstein wanted to buy this 6 acre property. Trump described it as the best land in America. Their intention was to buy it and transform it in a new way, while the Epstein wanted to live there.
On November 15, 2004, there was auction at West Palm Beach. Trump could not directly join it, but he participated by telephone. Three lawyers bid on behalf of Epstein. Trump had acquired the property with a bid of 356 crores.
Trump said- does not consider Eptin as his friend
There is no public record of interaction between Trump and Epstein after a real estate controversy. Trump later said in 2019 that there was a estrangement between him and Epstein and did not talk to each other for 15 years. Trump had said that he no longer consider Epstein as his friend.

Epstein accused of sexual abuse for the first time
Year- 2005
Place- Palm Beach, Florida
A 14 -year -old girl’s mother lodged a police complaint. It said that her daughter was called on the pretext of ‘massage’ in Epstein’s luxurious house, but after reaching there, she was pressurized to have sex.
When he returned home and told this to his parents, he immediately complained to the police. An official complaint was then filed against Jeffre Epstein for the first time. During the police investigation, it was revealed that this is not the only case.
Gradually, about 50 minor girls were identified, who made similar allegations against Epstein. The Palm Beach Police Department took the matter seriously and investigated for several months. After this, a criminal investigation against Epstein began.
Investigation in the case revealed that Epstein had a magnificent villa between Manhattan and Palm. Epstein used to perform high-profile parties here, which included many big personalities.
Epstein used to bring young girls to parties from his personal jet ‘Lolita Express’. He used to force the girls by greed and threatening money. It used to support Epstein’s girlfriend and partner Gislin Maxwell.
However, Epstein did not get jail for a long time even after the initial investigation. His influence was so much that he was sentenced to only 13 months in 2008, in which he could work out of jail during the day.
Epstein’s girlfriend Gislin Maxwell was arrested in 2020. He has been in jail since then. He has been sentenced to 20 years.

Epstein immersed in a wave of me to movement
After coming from jail in 2009, Epstein began to live a low profile. Exactly 8 years later, Me to Movement started in America. In 2017, American newspaper New York Times published several reports against Hollywood producer Harvey Winstein.
It reported that Winstein sexually abused actresses, models and employees for decades. This incident created sensation all over the world. More than 80 women accused Winstein of Me Too (I was also exploited) on social media.
It had big names like Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Uma Tharaman and Ashley Jude. After this, millions of women shared their exploitation stories by writing ‘#MeToo’ on social media.
It also had a young woman named Virginia Griffe. He made many serious allegations against Epstein. He claimed that he was sexually abused for 3 years. After this, about 80 women complained against her.
Virginia gifray trapped in Trump’s club
Virginia Gifray, a young woman accusing Eptin, was also there. She alleged that she was just 16 years old when she was working in Donald Trump’s club Mar-e-Lago. At the same time, he met Gislain Maxwell.
He offered him a massage therapy. She took her to Epstein with a deception. Gifray claimed that he was taken to Epstein’s house where he was asked to give ‘massage’. Gifray reported that she worked for Epstein and Maxwell for about 3 years.

During this time he was sent from private jets to places around the world, and there he was forced to make ‘sexual relations’ with influential people.
Gifray also accused Prince Andrew of Britain’s royal family that she forced her when she was a minor. This case created a big controversy in the British media.
Gifray did not say that Trump exploited him. But it was revealed that the Mar-e-Lago Club was the place from where it was “recruited”. This year April 2025 Virginia Gifray died. It was described as suicide but it once again brought the case into the discussion.

Epstein’s arrest, dies in jail
The pressure against Epstein was increasing. In such a situation, on 6 July 2019, Epstein was arrested again on serious allegations of sex trafficking in New York. On July 23, he was found unconscious in the cell. There were scars on his neck. It is believed that someone tried to kill him.
After this his security was increased, but was soon removed. Epstein was found dead in the same high-security jail on 10 August 2019. The official report said that he committed suicide by hanging, but many medical and legal experts questioned it.
The postmortem report said that some bones of Epstein’s neck were broken. These injuries are usually associated with strangulation, not suicide. The day Epstein died, the security cameras installed outside his cell were not working and the footage disappeared.
Since Epstein’s client list included big names. In such a situation, it was believed that he has been murdered for fear of opening Raj. After Epstein’s death, the FBI and Justice Department started its investigation.
Epstein’s girlfriend arrested
Sexual exploitation victims, Sarah Rances and Elizabeth Stein, Epstein’s girlfriend Maxwell exited the court after being sentenced to 20 years.
After Epstein’s death, his girlfriend Maxwell Maxwell was arrested in 2020 and was sentenced to 20 years for sexual trafficking in 2022.
The statements by court documents, flight logs, and victims (such as Virginia Gifre) showed that Epstein’s clients could have many big names.
In 2019, 2024, and January 2025, some documents were made public, including names such as Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, although there was no concrete evidence against them.
