Tesla Model Y, byd Sealion 7 or BMW X1 LWB: Which electric SUV is better?

Tesla model y launched: Tesla has opened its first showroom in India in Mumbai’s BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex). On this special occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also reached the showroom and attended the program. Price and specification of Tesla Model Y

Tesla’s Model Y is available in two variants in India. Its first variant is RWD, which has a 60kwh battery. This variant gives power of about 295 bhp and once charged it gives a range of about 500 kilometers. Its on-road price has been kept at Rs 61.07 lakh. The second variant is Long Range RWD, in which 75kwh battery is available. This variant provides a range of up to 622 km and its on-road price is Rs 69.15 lakh. MODEL Y is considered a technology-first SUV, as it provides smart facilities like over-the-air software updates, premium sound system and Tesla mobile app to control the vehicle.

How powerful is Byd Sealion?

Sealion 7 SUV of Byd has also been introduced in two variants in India. Its first variant comes with a single motor, which has a battery of 82.56kwh. This variant gives power of about 313 bhp and a range of about 482 km. Its price is 51.80 lakh rupees. At the same time, its second variant comes with dual motor, which gives power of about 530 bhp. However, the range decreases slightly and it can cover a distance of about 456 kilometers. The price of this dual motor variant can be between 60 to 65 lakhs. The specialty of this car is its powerful motor setup and sharp acceleration, but its range is slightly less than Tesla Model Y’s long range variants.

How is BMW X1 LWB luxury, range and price?

BMW’s X1 LWB is a premium electric SUV known for luxury build quality and balanced performance. It has a 66.4kwh battery, which generates power of 204 bhp. The range of this SUV is about 531 kilometers, which makes it better for long distances. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 51.90 lakh. In terms of range, it is slightly better than BYD and comes around Tesla’s RWD variants.

Which SUV is ahead in which?

If we compare the three trains, the long range variant of Tesla Model Y gives the highest range of 622 km. At the same time, the dual motor variant of byd Sealion 7 gives the highest power of 530 bhp. BMW X1 emerges as a balanced option in the LWB range and price. Tesla has a 75kwh battery, 82.56kwh in BYD and 66.4kwh in BMW. Talking about the price, Tesla Model Y Long Range is priced at Rs 69.15 lakh, byd dual motor variants are estimated at Rs 60 to 65 lakhs and BMW X1 LWB is priced at Rs 51.90 lakh.
