On Saturday, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) fighters blasted a bus in Turbat city of Balochistan, western province of Pakistan. 4 people have died in this. Apart from this, 32 others are injured. The condition of 5 of these injured is critical.
An SSP rank senior police officer and his family were also injured in the attack. Police have expressed apprehension that the rebels had attacked the bus with the intention of targeting the SSP. At present the injured have been taken to the hospital.
After the attack, a BLA spokesperson released a video and took responsibility for the attack. Earlier last month too, two people had died in a bomb blast here.

5 killed in clash between two parties in Peshawar
On Saturday, 5 people died in firing between two groups in Tehkal area of Peshawar, Pakistan. Apart from this, 6 other people have also been injured. According to the police, the matter is of mutual enmity. Heavy police force has been deployed on the spot. Those who are absconding are being searched.
According to the police, one party was returning from a wedding ceremony when they encountered the other party, after which there was firing between the two parties. According to the police, there was a dispute going on between the two parties earlier. The matter is related to property and old murder case.
The police is currently busy investigating the matter. No one has been arrested yet.
16 killed in terrorist attack on military post last month
On December 21, terrorists attacked an army post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. 16 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack. This attack took place in Makin, 40 km from the Afghanistan border.
News agency AFP quoted an army officer as saying that more than 30 terrorists attacked the army post for about 2 hours. During this, the terrorists set fire to many things including wireless equipment and documents present at the post. After this everyone fled from the spot.
The responsibility of this attack was taken by the terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan i.e. TTP.
