Telangana tunnel collapse case experts claims tunnel rescuers Facing Heightened Danger

Telangana tunnel collaps: Eight laborers have been stranded for three days in a tunnel accident in Nagarkurnul district of Telangana. NDRF and SDRF teams are constantly engaged in rescue operations. Now six experts of the rescue team involved in the Silkyara tunnel accident of Uttarakhand have also joined this operation.

The rescue operation is now becoming more dangerous. The height of the mud wall increased by one meter, which has made the condition of the workers more serious. More than 48 hours have passed since the tunnel collapsed and the people stranded have not been contacted yet. Experts say that excessive digging can not only endanger the lives of the trapped laborers, but can also put the rescuers at risk.

New challenges in rescue work
So far, five rescue teams have gone into the tunnel. The report received from the fourth team has increased the concern. Every minute 3,200 liters of water is filling in the tunnel, due to which the mud is increasing due to sand, stone and debris.
Experts feared that there may be another leak, which will make the rescue work more difficult.

Rat-Hole Minors of Uttarakhand called
The Telangana government has called Rat-Hole Minors from Uttarakhand, as they specialize in rescue work in narrow places. CM Revanth Reddy is monitoring the rescue operation. Telangana ministers are constantly present at the scene and are taking stock of the situation.

Things worsened due to tunnel accident
Due to the slipping of natural stone, water and soil suddenly entered the tunnel. Water was flooded for 12-13 feet, which is affecting relief work. In view of the possible situation in the coming hours, the team of officers and experts will soon decide the strategy ahead. The safety of all is priority, but the delay in rescue remains a matter of concern.
