The Telangana High Court has said in an interim instruction that children below 16 years should not be given entry before 11 am and after 11 pm in the state. The court gave this instruction during the hearing of two separate petitions on Monday (27 January).
The court directed the State Home Ministry that they should talk to all the stakeholders as soon as possible and implement this rule.
Significantly, there was a stampede during the screening of the film Pushpa-2 in Hyderabad in December 2024. A woman’s death and her son was seriously injured in this stampede.
