Expressing grief over the killings, Union Minister Kishan Reddy said that he has spoken to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and sought help in bringing his body to India. Family members said that the three people were attacked with a sword in the bakery on 11 April. In this, Ashtapu Premasagar (35) of Son village of Nirmal district and Srinivas of Nizamabad died.

A third person named Sagar, who lives in Nizamabad, is injured, who has been admitted to Usat. Meanwhile, Redda said that the Foreign Minister has assured him of help. He said that the Ministry of External Affairs will also work to ensure quick justice in this matter.

Union Minister of State for Home Bundi Sanjay Kumar also expressed grief over the incident, saying that he had spoken to officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and the officials of the Union Home Ministry are in touch with him.
