The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the petition of former cricket administrator Lalit Modi, in which he demanded the BCCI to pay a fine of Rs 10.65 crore imposed by the ED by the ED for violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). However, a bench of Justices PS Narasimha and R. Mahadevan said that according to Lalit Modi law, the civil treatment will be entitled to avail the treatment.
