NASA gave the green signal to make Boeing a spacecraft in October 2011. It took 6 years by becoming Starlineer. Made in 2017. He continued to test till 2019. But no human was involved in these flights. These were unmanned flights.

Full story of Starlineer
The first unmanned orbit flight test took place on 20 December 2019. But due to disturbances of two software, it reached the second orbit. Docking could not be done from the space station. Two days later, New Mexico’s White Sands missile landed back to the range.
There was a problem in every flight …
The second unmanned flight took place on 6 April 2020. Had to go to the space station. Had to do docking. After this, I had to come back. But the launch had to be avoided a little. Preparations were made to launch in August 2021. But then some shortcomings were found in 13 propulsion valves of spacecraft. After this, Boeing rebuilt the entire spacecraft.

In May 2022, the trial flight was prepared. On 19 May 2022, Starlineer again flew. This time two dummy astronauts were placed in it. But orbital manuving and Attitude Control System Thrsters failed. Somehow Starlineer was connected to the space station on 22 May 2022.
On 25 May 2022, Starlineer came back to Earth from the space station. The navigation system was damaged by the spacecraft at the time of retirement. Communication was disturbed. Also, the connection with GPS satellite was broken. But Boeing said it is normal.
Sunita’s flight was also dangerous
The third manned flight was fixed in the year 2017. But due to many reasons, it came by July 2023. On 1 June 2023, Boeing said that we are avoiding this flight. On 7 August 2023, the company said that the problems of the spacecraft are over. The next flight was fixed on 6 May 2024.
But then this launch was postponed. Because there was some problem in the oxygen valve in the Atlas rocket. After this, the launch was postponed due to helium leak in spacecraft. Finally, on June 5, Sunita Williams and Barry Buch Wilmore left for space with this spacecraft. After 8 days, they had to come back on 13 June but it did not happen.
