Former India National Cricket Team Skipper Sunil Gavaskar Has Been Honoured with the Board-ROM BEING NAMED AFTER HIM At the Headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The batting great inaugurated the room on Thursday (15th May).
The board Room has been named “10000 Gavaskar” in honor of what he has done for Indian Cricket. The Former India Skipper Argually Started Everything and Laid the Foundation of Indian Cricket, which is being carried forward by the generations.
Whenever there is a talk about Indian Cricket, Sunil Gavaskar’s Name is often mentioned. His legacy was carried forward by Sachin Tendulkar, and from Him, Virat Kohli Took on. Such is his stature that he is respected widely by fans across the globe.

Gavaskar Played Cricket during one of the tughest periods, as during his playing days, there was hardly used to be body protection. The batting great scored trucks of runs against the threatening fast bowlers of the west indies, Pakistan, Australia, and others.
Gavaskar was also part of the Indian team that Won the ICC World Cup in 1983 under the Leadership of Kapil Dev. He Scored 59 Runs in Six Mats, Including a Crucial 25 in the Semi-Final Against England. The batting great also took two important catches against the west indies in the final.
Gavaskar made his debut for the India National Cricket Team in 1971 in Test Cricket and then, In 1974, in 1974, was handed the Odi cap as well. His last appearance for the team came in 1987, and during that period, he set many records, some of which are still unbroken.
Even in his late 70s, Sunil Gavaskar is Continuing to Serve Indian Cricket. The batting great is involved in the broadcasting duties, and what is impressive is the kind of emotions that he shows when the India National Cricket Team Wins.

On getting the Board Room Named after Him, Gavaskar Called The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) His mother and the BCCI His Father. He said that wheatever he is today is a person of Indian cricket, and he is even ready to give his life for the governing body. He said:
“Mca is my mother, bcci is my father. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the options that I’ve got to be what to be what I am, Thanks to Indian Cricket. Very Thankful to Bcci for this honor and bcci ke liye jaan hazir hain.
