A suicide attack took place on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters at Nokkundi in Pakistan’s Balochistan province late on Sunday night. According to Dawn report, a suicide bomber blew himself up near the main gate.

The explosion was so strong that the gate broke. After this, 6 armed fighters entered inside. Security forces immediately started retaliating. After heavy firing, 3 attackers were killed. At the same time, some sources of Dawn have claimed that 6 attackers have been killed.

Meanwhile, an FC check post was also attacked in Gurmakan area of ​​Panjgur district. FC spokesperson claimed that both attacks Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

Militants targeted Quetta and Dera Murad

A few hours ago, there were 7 consecutive explosions in one day in the same area. Suspected militants targeted several places in Quetta and Dera Murad Jamali. No one died in the blasts.

On Saturday, a police check post in Quetta was attacked with a hand grenade. After this, an IED blast took place near the Anti-Terrorism Department (ATD) vehicle. There were three more blasts by evening.

According to Quetta SSP Asif Khan, armed people threw grenades at the construction company’s camp on Sariab Road, injuring two guards.

Motorcycle-riding attackers also threw two grenades at Manjoor Shaheed Police Station. One of these exploded on the spot, the other was defused by the bomb squad. The railway track near Lohar Carez on the outskirts of the city was also blown up by IED blast.
