According to the information received by ABP Live from the temple administration in this regard, keeping in mind the coming 25th December and the new year 2026, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust has banned Baba’s touch darshan from 24th December to 2nd January.
Devotees and devotees are reaching Kashi Vishwanath Dham in large numbers.

To control the crowd in the temple, devotees will be sent to the premises through zig zag line system.
Estimate of arrival of more than 5 lakh devotees
Last year also on the occasion of New Year, a large number of devotees had reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This time too, more than 5 lakh devotees are expected to arrive on the occasion of New Year. Due to increase in religious tourism, now people like to visit many religious places. Therefore, huge crowd is seen in the religious city of Kashi, especially in the ancient temples.
