India will have to wait longer for successful docking in space. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has once again decided to postpone the satellite docking experiment. The reason is that due to technical problems in the Space Docking Experiment (Spadex), the Satellite Docking Experiment scheduled for Thursday has been postponed again.

ISRO gave information

Giving details of the matter, ISRO said that while maneuvering to reach 225 meters between the satellites, the drift after the visibility period was higher than expected. Therefore, the docking scheduled for tomorrow i.e. January 9 has been postponed. ISRO also said that the satellites are safe.

Let us tell you that this is the second time that ISRO has postponed Spadex. It was initially planned to be held on 7 January, but was canceled and then postponed to 9 January.

purpose of experiment

The purpose of this experiment is to develop the technology required for rendezvous, docking and undocking of spacecraft, which will prove important for future satellite service, space station operations and interplanetary missions.
