If a single person does not have airpods in both of them, then in that case the iPhone will work and the transcript will start running on its display.

Apple said that if both users have live translation airpods, then it will also be easy for them to have a long conversation. Due to the active noise cancellation (ANC) given in the airpods, the voice of the person in front will slow down and he will be able to easily pay attention to translation.

Live translation in airpods is currently available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. By the end of this year, support for Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese language will also be added to it.
