Social media accounts of Pakistani celebrities again banned

The social media accounts of Pakistani celebrities to influenchers have been banned again in India within 24 hours. A day earlier, many Pakistani celebrities’ social media handles started appearing in India, after which the government has taken a big decision. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgaon, the Government of India locked the X account including YouTube channels, Instagram and Facebook ID of Pakistani celebrities, cricketers and social media influencers.

Re -banned account

After the account was banned for about two months, on Wednesday 2 July, many Pakistani cricketers and actors’ social media handles were visible again in India. According to the report of News 18, the central government called an Emergency Review meeting on this, after which all Pakistani celebrities and social media influencing accounts have been banned in India.

According to the report, many actors and cricketers, including Mavra Hocaine, Saba Qamar, Ahad Raza, Mir Yumna Zaidi, Danish Taimur, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, were visible in Pakistani celebrities. After the decision of the government, more than 18 thousand Pakistani celebrities and social media influencing accounts have been banned.

Government’s big decision

Accounts of Pakistani celebrities and influencingrs are no longer seen in India. Not only this, social media and YouTube channels of Pakistani news channels have also been banned in India. However, no official information has been shared by the government regarding this. According to the report, the Ministry of Broadcasting has decided to continue the ban on social media accounts of Pakistani celebrities after holding an emergency review meeting.

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Government of India launched Operation Sindoor while taking action. In this, many terrorist launch pads were destroyed in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. Since then, there was a war -like situation in India and Pakistan. However, the situation is normal since the announcement of ceasefire on 10 May. However, all types of diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan have been abolished.
