Shashi Tharore on Depotation of Illegal Indian Immigrants from Us on Military Plane

Us departation: On Wednesday (5 February), an American military aircraft left 104 Indians at Amritsar Airport. Those who came out of the aircraft were living illegally in America. After Donald Trump became President, these people were sent back to India due to their new policy on illegal migrants. In fact, the Trump government is identifying illegal migrants living in America and sending them to their respective countries. In such a situation, when the number of illegal Indian migrants came, political rhetoric on this matter has intensified in India.

Opposition parties say that Indians being deported from America are being brought to handcuffs and fetters. Opposition parties are constantly targeting the central government on this matter. Meanwhile, the statement of Congress MP and Parliamentary Committee Chairman Shashi Tharoor has also come. He has said that America has every right to send illegal Indian migrants back to India, but these people should neither be brought in handcuffs nor brought by military aircraft.

‘Send by flight instead of military aircraft’
In a conversation with Indian Express, Shashi Tharoor said, ‘I heard that he was sent back by military aircraft. This is the case that is not right. America has every right to send these illegal Indian migrants back to India, but it is wrong to send this way. It would have been better if the US would send them from regular commercial flight instead of military aircraft.

‘No need to wear handcuffs’
Tharoor also said that I will expect the Government of India to talk to America and say that you do not need to send these people by military aircraft, nor do they need to handcuff them. These people are not criminals. Their mistake is that these people come to your land illegally. Now when you are bringing them to our earth, there is no need to wear them.
