I want Kerala to become a developed state and I support the good initiative taken by the state government.” Many Congress leaders feel that the LDF government is not favorable for trade and industrial development, but Tharoor believes that Kerala has improved under Vijayan government.

Kerala’s changing political status
According to political analysts, Vijayan has established himself as a visionary leader by giving priority to the development of welfare schemes and infrastructure. In 2021, LDF retained power with an overwhelming majority. The pro -development stance of Tharoor has given him a different identity in Kerala politics. After winning the election for the first time from Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat in 2009, he won four consecutive times.
