The domestic stock market saw a boom on Thursday. In early trade, the Sensex rose by 280.38 points to 78,551.66 points, while the Nifty rose 77.25 points to 23,773.55 points. In the early trade, the rupee fell by 12 paise to the best level of 87.55 against the US dollar.
