Sharad Pawar on Thursday praised RSS’s dedication to its ideology. He also called upon his party NCP to build a base of workers with unwavering commitment to the progressive ideas of social reformers Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, BR Ambedkar and Yashwantrao Chavan.

Appreciated the ideology of RSS
Addressing party workers in South Mumbai, Pawar said the RSS has committed workers who show their devotion to the Hindutva ideology and do not deviate from its path under any circumstances. He said that we also need a worker base which is committed to the ideology of Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, BR Ambedkar and Yashwantrao Chavan.
Pawar also spoke on defeat in Maharashtra
On the party’s defeat in the November assembly elections in Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar said that after the success in the Lok Sabha elections, we became complacent, while the ruling coalition took immediate steps to prevent its defeat. He said that the party could not tell the OBCs what it had done for their upliftment.
Sharad Pawar also stressed the need for social engineering to end the caste divide in Marathwada, especially after the death of a Dalit man in Parbhani district and the murder of a sarpanch in Beed district. He said that in such situations there is a need to connect with the society and adopt the strategy of social engineering.
