Investigating agencies have revealed that the second car (EcoSport) used in the incident is registered in the name of a man, Umar, from Rajouri Garden area of ​​Delhi. This vehicle has been in use for more than seven years.

This is a BS-4 diesel engine car. The insurance of this vehicle is valid till 15 February 2026, while its pollution certificate is valid till 5 December 2025. This vehicle is currently recorded in the ‘Using’ category in ‘Active Status’, which means it was being used regularly.

For the first time, CCTV footage of the car blast that took place near the Red Fort in the country’s capital Delhi on Monday evening has surfaced. Suddenly there was a huge explosion in the explosive laden car. 12 people died in the explosion, while more than 20 people were injured. The condition of three of the injured is critical.
