Important information has come to light regarding the recent blasts in Delhi. Investigating agencies have revealed that the second car (EcoSport) used in the incident is registered in the name of a man, Umar, from Rajouri Garden area of Delhi. This vehicle has been in use for more than seven years.

This is a BS-4 diesel engine car. The insurance of this vehicle is valid till 15 February 2026, while its pollution certificate is valid till 5 December 2025. This vehicle is currently recorded in the ‘Using’ category in ‘Active Status’, which means it was being used regularly.

After this revelation, security agencies are thoroughly investigating the aspects related to Omar. Efforts are being made to find out whether Umar has any direct connection with this terrorist incident, or whether this vehicle came into the hands of the terrorists through some other means. Further investigation in this matter is ongoing and detailed information is awaited.

CCTV footage of Delhi blast surfaced
For the first time, CCTV footage of the car blast that took place near the Red Fort in the country’s capital Delhi on Monday evening has surfaced. The heart-wrenching scene of the blast has been captured in CCTV. The explosion was recorded in a surveillance camera installed at the Red Fort intersection. Suddenly there was a huge explosion in the explosive laden car. 12 people died in the explosion, while more than 20 people were injured. The condition of three of the injured is critical. NIA is investigating the case.
