Sanchar Sathi: ‘…can be deleted’, Scindia’s clarification on the government’s order to make the app mandatory in smartphones – Jyotiraditya Scindia Clarifies On Sanchar Saathi App That It Could Be Deleted By Users

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that Sanchar Sathi app can be deleted. This app will be like other apps. There is no need to register in this app. The opposition is unnecessarily making it an issue. This app is definitely made mandatory by the companies but it completely depends on the user whether he wants to use this app or not. This app is completely designed for the safety of citizens.

Jyotiraditya Scindia said:

Regarding the questions of media persons outside the Parliament and the aggressive attitude of the opposition parties, Scindia said, I am trying to break every illusion. This is a matter of consumer safety. If you want to delete the app, you can delete it. For example, if you do not want to use this app, then do not use it, it will remain dormant. If you want to delete then delete. But what happens is that not every person in the country knows. This app has been created to protect against theft and fraud. Therefore, it is our responsibility to make this app available to every person. It will become active only when you register.

Rejecting the efforts to increase Nirgani, Scindia said, such allegations are baseless. He said, users can delete this app completely. Just like you can delete other apps, you can also delete this one by pressing the delete option. Now it is the responsibility of the government to clear all the confusions. I have put all the issues before you as to how much facility the public has got through the Sanchar Sathi app. Within a year, frauds worth crores have taken place in our country.
