In exchange for Sanju Samson, Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran are going to leave Chennai Super Kings and join Rajasthan Royals. According to Cricbuzz, consent has been received from all three players regarding the trade and all three have signed the trade deal. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the trade yet. It is being told that this process may take some time to complete, after which Samson’s move to CSK and Jadeja-Curran’s move to Rajasthan Royals are expected to be confirmed.

For the trade deal to be completed, it is necessary for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be involved in it. It is reported that till Monday evening, neither Rajasthan or Chennai franchise has officially informed IPL or BCCI officials about this trade.

According to IPL rules, whenever a foreign player is traded, NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required. Since Sam Curran is an England player, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) can be made a part of the process to trade him.

Sanju Samson and Ravindra Jadeja were retained by their respective teams last season for Rs 18 crores. But in this trade deal, along with Jadeja, Sam Curran is also going to Rajasthan. Curran, who was given a salary of Rs 2.4 crore by Chennai Super Kings last season. According to other media reports, Rajasthan Royals management had earlier demanded Dewald Brevis along with Jadeja, but CSK management had rejected that demand. After that Sam Curran’s name came up in this trade deal.
