The application filed in the Allahabad High Court on the demand for dyeing and painting of Sambhal Jama Masjid was held in the Allahabad High Court. In compliance with the court order, the ASI has filed an inquiry report. In the report, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has said that there is no need for dyeing and painting in the mosque. During the investigation, dirt and bushes have been found to grow in the mosque, its photographs have also been filed in the court. The next hearing will be held on 4 March.
