Actress Samantha’s close friend Shilpa Reddy is a fashion designer.
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru got married at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on Monday morning. The couple’s marriage took place in the presence of family and close friends. Samantha’s close friend Shilpa Reddy shared some inside pictures from the wedding on Instagram.
Shilpa wrote in her post, “Sam and Raj’s beautiful Bhoot Shuddhi wedding at Isha Foundation. I loved wearing this simple and beautiful Kanchi cotton handwoven saree which is green in color with red border. I paired it with South Indian temple jewellery.”
In a picture in Shilpa’s post, Samantha and Raj are seen holding hands and looking lovingly into each other’s eyes. Whereas, in the second picture, Shilpa is sitting next to Samantha, while Samantha is smiling and holding her hand. Raj is sitting near them and the couple is wearing a garland.
Samantha, Raj Nidimoru and Shilpa Reddy were seen sitting together after the wedding.

The news of Samantha and Raj Nidimoru’s engagement was revealed on Sunday evening, after which Raj’s ex-wife Shyamali Dey shared a cryptic post. He wrote from the story section of the official Instagram account, Hasty people do rash things.
The news of Samantha and Raj dating was in the headlines for the past several months. Both of them worked together in the popular series The Family Man 2. Series 4 was released in June 2021.
Since then, Samantha and Raj Nidimoru were spotted together on many occasions. Recently, Samantha had also given a hint of relationship by posting a picture of her hugging Raj. However, both of them had never made their relationship official before marriage.
Who is Raj Nidimoru?
Raj Nidimoru, 50, is a filmmaker. The filmmaker duo of him and DK (Krishna Dasarakothapalli) is quite popular in the film industry. After doing software engineering from UK, both of them started their career together in the film industry with the 2002 film Shaadi.com. After this, both of them wrote, produced and directed the film 99 as independent filmmakers from the year 2003. After this, both of them wrote and directed films like Shor in the City, Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending, A Gentleman.
From the year 2019, Raj and DK entered OTT and directed-produced the Manoj Bajpayee starrer series The Family Man. Further he made series like Fergie, Citadel and Guns aur Gulab. The duo of Raj and DK has written and produced the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer film Stree.
Samantha and Varun Dhawan were in lead roles in the series directed and produced by Raj and DK.
Raj Nidimoru married Shyamali Dey in 2015 and the couple got divorced in 2022.
Samantha took divorce from Naga Chaitanya in 2022
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were seen together in the film Ye Maya Chesave. On the sets of this film, both of them started liking each other and got into a relationship. After being in a relationship for 7 years, Samantha married South star Naga Chaitanya in the year 2017. Both were married according to Hindu and Christian customs.
After marriage, Samantha changed her surname to Akkineni, however, in July 2021, she changed her name from Samantha Akkineni to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. After this, news of their divorce started coming to the fore and both of them announced their divorce in October 2021.
